A shop can be serious about making things without taking itself terribly seriously.
SpiderPunk brings together two pleasures: finding something unlike the things around it, and making an object feel like your own. The range is being built around psychic curios, strange art, planchette-making ideas, and custom talking-board prints.
Room for different materials
Not every object needs the rarest wood or the most elaborate finish. Sometimes a simple material is exactly right for a project. The shape, the attention and the choices you make can give an accessible object a strong personality.
SpiderPunk gives that experimental side of the workshop its own home. Paranormal Products remains the home for Nicholas’s most exacting, high-end and sacred work.
A real maker, an imaginary Society
The Victorian gentlemen and their hat-stealing machine are our shop’s fictional hosts. Product descriptions, quotes and ordering details belong to the real world. A story can make the cabinet more fun without being a claim about an object’s provenance or powers.
The part you contribute
Build something, grow something, alter something, and you often care about it differently. That belief sits at the center of the workshop. The aim is not to make everybody’s object look alike. It is to help you make one that means something to you.
